Stay well this winter

It is recommended that everyone get the influenza vaccine in mid-April, to be protected when influenza season reaches its peak around June to September. At Clarendon Medical, our nurses can administer private and government-funded flu vaccines.

The seasonal influenza vaccination is free under the National Immunisation Program (NIP) for the following groups:

  • People aged six months to five years
  • Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people aged six months and over
  • Pregnant women
  • People aged 65 years and older
  • People with medical conditions putting them at increased risk of complications from severe influenza

The best defense against influenza is increased vaccination rates in the community. Protect yourself and your family by enquiring about flu vaccination today!
