Patient Cancellation and Non-Attendance Policy

At Clarendon Medical, we are committed to providing timely access to care for all patients. Missed appointments or late cancellations reduce availability for other patients in need. To ensure the best use of clinical time and to keep our services running efficiently, the following policy applies:

Appointment Booking

When booking an appointment, patients will be asked to provide valid credit or debit card details to secure the booking. Card details are securely stored via our encrypted third-party payment system and will only be used in accordance with this policy.

Cancellations

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer the appointment to another patient on our waitlist.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $100 late cancellation fee. This fee does not apply to patients attending for Medical Intravenous Therapies.

Failure to Attend

Patients who do not attend their doctors appointment without notifying the clinic will be charged the full new patient consultation fee.

Patients who do not attend their nurses appointment will be charged the full nursing fee.

Payment Processing

By providing your card details, you authorise Clarendon Medical to charge the applicable cancellation or non-attendance fees directly to your card in accordance with this policy. You will be notified before any charge is processed.

Exceptions

We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can occur. If you believe you have a valid reason for a late cancellation or missed appointment, please contact the clinic as soon as possible to discuss.
